Thank you for following The Inclusive Community and our podcast at State of Inclusion. I’m currently working on a new podcast episode and newsletter where we check in with individuals working to make their community more inclusive and equitable and who strongly believe this work is important.
That is why I’m reaching out to you. I'd love to get your answers to a few questions. They are pretty big questions, but please don't be intimidated. No need to script anything. Feel free to just share from your heart.
Since we're creating a podcast episode, we’d love to hear your voice. To enable that, I’ve set up links to allow you to record a short audio response to each of the questions below. You’ll have the opportunity to leave your name each time. However, you can also record any part anonymously. If you record anonymously, I will assume I can use your audio but will not identify you by name. I can’t guarantee we’ll use your audio clip, but we will try to incorporate as many of them as possible in the episode. If you don’t feel comfortable being on audio with your response, you’re welcome to send a written response, and again, you can request anonymity or give me permission to reference you.
My goal is to publish this episode in April, so a response in the next 5-10 days would be much appreciated. You’ll have 3 minutes to respond to each question.
Question 1: How are you personally doing during this challenging time? Click here to record your answer to question 1.
Question 2: Given all of the controversies around DEI, what is your single biggest concern about the work to build more inclusive and equitable communities and systems? Click here to record your answer to Question 2.
Question 3: What gives you hope about the future of more equitable and inclusive communities? Click here to record your answer to question 3.
Thank you in advance for considering this request. We would love to hear from you!
